Norican — Moulding Process
A large-scale industrial CGI video for Norican, created to transform a complex metal moulding process into a clear, cinematic and attention-grabbing LED screen experience for FUNDIEXPO.
A complex manufacturing process turned into a cinematic exhibition experience.
Norican needed to prepare for FUNDIEXPO with content that could quickly attract attention and communicate a highly technical moulding process in a busy exhibition environment.
Traditional technical presentations and static materials could not create the level of engagement the brand needed. The goal was to make the manufacturing process understandable, impressive and visually memorable.
Lumenstory created large-format CGI content for an LED screen, combining engineering logic, industrial detail, cinematic movement and a strong exhibition wow effect.
The process had to stay technically credible while becoming simple enough to grasp in seconds.
The main challenge was to explain a complex metal casting and moulding process in a format that would work for exhibition visitors who might only see the screen for a few seconds.
The content had to stay understandable both from close range and from a distance, because visitors would interact with the screen while moving through the exhibition space.
At the same time, the video needed to preserve the logic of the industrial process and communicate Norican as a modern, innovative engineering brand rather than just showing abstract CGI effects.
Industrial technology became a cinematic journey from heavy production to a smart digital future.
The concept transformed the moulding process into a visual narrative where industrial mechanisms, material behavior and technological transitions worked as one continuous CGI story.
The key wow moment was the transformation of technical industrial elements into dynamic particle flows and digital forms, making the manufacturing process feel alive and future-facing.

A staged CGI pipeline designed to protect both engineering logic and visual impact.
Storyboard
The production process, narrative flow and key visual transitions were mapped first.
Animatic
Timing, process clarity and exhibition readability were validated before final production.
CGI Production
Industrial scenes, materials, mechanisms and transformation sequences were created.
FX & Compositing
Procedural systems, particles, motion layers and final visual rhythm were refined.
Final Adaptation
The final video was adapted for large LED screen playback and exhibition viewing distance.
The technical core was balancing industrial accuracy with cinematic clarity.
The hardest part was keeping the manufacturing logic credible while making the process dynamic enough for an exhibition environment.
The content had to explain technical steps without becoming a dry engineering demonstration, so the team built a visual rhythm with clear transitions and readable process stages.
Procedural systems and particle transformations were used to make materials and process stages feel alive while preserving the industrial character of the brand.
The production used Cinema 4D, Houdini for procedural systems and simulations, Redshift, After Effects and a large-format LED CGI pipeline.
Three to four revision rounds helped refine process logic before costly final simulations and renders.

Risks were controlled by approving the logic and script first, then the animatic and key transitions, before moving into final simulations and render-heavy production.
“Lumenstory managed to transform a highly technical manufacturing process into a visual experience that felt both engaging and easy to understand.”
A complex industrial process became the central visual magnet of Norican’s exhibition booth.
The CGI content became the central visual element of Norican’s booth at FUNDIEXPO, helping the brand stand out among many exhibitors.
The complex metal casting and moulding process was transformed into a clear visual story, making the technology easier to explain to visitors, partners and decision-makers.
The video worked as an engagement tool: it attracted attention in the first seconds and encouraged visitors to stop near the booth.
The final result strengthened Norican’s image as an innovative engineering brand and created a reusable presentation asset for future communication.
